It started a couple of days before departure. My girlfriend asked me again what my plans were for driving the rented car in Chiang Mai. And yes, a vague plan was already in my mind to look for a piece of land for later. Surfing around in Google Maps I saw how much pieces of forest around Chiang Mai were lost because of human actions.
